Are people really pissed tonight??? They thought I was over reacting to the Michigan loss but this loss is now a huge disappointment??

If anything this is the must understandable loss out of the 3.

1) USC: ranked team, started 2nd string QB majority of 2nd half

2) Minnesota: Short week and had to deal with Rhule / Penn State rumors

3) Michigan: Loss at home to a top 25 team with a freshman QB: this is the loss I was most pissed about by far and I was mocked for.

No. That win was right there for us with Dylan though.

We lost but the lack of PI calls when Dylan was still in the game was ridiculous. Everytime we had 1v1 coverage they were all over our WRs.

That was the Michigan game!! This game was setup for a loss and losing our starting QB for the majority of the 2nd half and only losing by as much as we did was good.

Rhule didn’t have an update post game. He said that Dylan couldn’t run, and he said he didn’t want to play a guy who couldn’t protect himself. He specifically said the medical staff did not say he “couldn’t” be in there, but they did say he “shouldn’t” be in there.

Make of that what you will. Hopefully we will get an update on Monday.

Isn’t it pretty vertical, already? A lot of fades, back shoulders, etc? I’d love to see more of the slants and hitches that Key seemed to be pretty good at. Or use the middle of the field more in general.

I agree with this 100%. I think we got a pretty damn good one. It’s pretty exciting, honestly, especially with it only being his first year as a DC. He’s gonna get better. Give him an above average DL and look out.

This one bothers me a lot less than the Michigan and Minnesota games. We played a good USC team much tighter than I thought we would. Michigan and Minnesota are not good teams.

The same guys that have been making excuses for Raiola's mistakes, all of sudden want to hold Lateef to a different standard.

The kid might not turn out to be great but he came in off the bench as a true freshman in a bad situation in a big game under the lights and did what he could to try and get the win.

Real life isn't always the storybook ending where the guy comes in off the bench and wins the big game.
