Similar. First game I remember vividly, I was at my aunt's house in Fort Collins in 2001 watching the Colorado game
I know I had some footing at that point because I remember being shocked that we lost
In retrospect, after 25 years of ass waxing after ass waxing, I'd tell my younger self to run away from this program and just watch NFL
Brutal.
Atleast my first year my parents started letting me use season tickets was 97. Was fun and a brutal ride down hill since

For us guys 60 and older, at least we got to witness the entirety of Husker greatness.

The problem is the addiction is too strong at this point to let go.

I don’t know how you under 30-35 guys remain attached to this program, but kudos for hanging in there.

Hopefully we make another bowl game in your lifetimes
We were young enough to get a small glimpse of it as kids and be hooked. Idk why the kids born after 2000 would even care about football at this point.

Play HH the rest of the season and pull something out of your ass to get to a bowl. DR isn’t going to get it done this year.
Yes. This is the solution. Satt might not be great, but Dylan is fucking awful. He never hits a hot route, he is indecisive, and he when he runs it’s like he is pulling a Conestoga wagon up a mountain. Only dumbfucks like Sip still think he is elite at this point.

Dylan can GTFO. Dude trying to cosplay Mahomes when he ain't no good. Kaelin might be our best hope at a winning season before Trump gives away everything to Xi and Putin.
That’s fair. I’m glad people are starting to realize Raiola is fucking awful.

There are no tater takes today. Every hate, every take is valid. In this day and age there is no excuse to not win with our resources. Coaching is the problem. It all falls on Rhule. I’m beyond out.

We missed red flags with previous coaching staffs. Not this time.
Good call on the red flags that's a good way to put it.

He officially has 30 carries for -59 yards. That’s with a 38 yard run at Ohio state.
Lmfao

Yeah the first game I really remember all of was the 2002 National Championship pounding.
The first game I really remember was Nebraska losing in '81 season to Clemson with a Natty on the line. And then of course the crushing '83 season Orange bowl loss. I got to see us finally rise to the top, but it took a while. I don't even see a path to respectability right now.

1962 Spring game. Had to out run a tornado back to Omaha!

I'm 37. I remember well the 97 national title.

But I also remember sitting in my aunt's house on Black Friday in 2001 watching Colorado kick the shit outta us. And the big ten title game against Wisconsin when they were 7-5 and murdered us. And the loss to Texas when they put :01 back on. And the hail mary loss to BYU. And the 9-7 loss to Cockeye State. And Losing twice to Colorado with Scott Frost. Blowing a 17-0 lead in the big 12 title game. Starting 0-6 in Frost's first season. Getting boat raced by Colorado in 2023. Throwing an interception when we were about to beat Maryland last year. Losing to Michigan in 2021 when we had them beat. Losing to Michigan State when we punted the wrong direction. Losing to Texas tech 70-10.
Ah yeah I’m 32. I wish I remembered anything from the 97 season but I don’t. I do remember all of those things though 😢
