Kade Pietrzak looked really good today. First time I've seen him up close.
Van Poppel not so good. Question his overall strength. Was put on his ass many times and you can tell his confidence is down.
I thought our Strength coach was supposed to be awesome. But in three years we have yet to see any of the young linemen actually improve from their freshman seasons. Keona looked better last year. Certainly showed more flashes. #11 same deal. Van Poople like you said looks weak AF...also see Jeudy. And same deal with the younger OL. Where is Grant Brix? I thought we got two studs from Hawaii but never a mention of them. Gottula went from decent as a freshman to a tub of goo. Seriously where are the gains?

We really need SIP to look into this one for us...

They look and play like they lack confidence in what they're doing on OL and DL. That alone will make fast guys play slow and strong guys play weak.

Finally watching the game right now.

Can we please significantly increase our number of RPOs we run. I think it’s what Dylan does best
we're saving them for USC

Something seems to be missing. NW and IA have dudes who look like Hulk out there.

I've been saying this for years, across multiple head coaches and strength coaches. Our lines are just not as strong and explosive as most of the rest of the Big 10. We'll have a few guys here and there that develop, but for the most part the players plateau at about year 2.

outside of the last 2 years with TRob and Nash our DL has been abused in short yardage for 15 years
