Just heard Portnoy repeat this on Big Noon and he also flatly stated Nebraska was terrible. The Bear also liked Northwestern and so did Herbstreit on College Gameday. He picked them as his super dog upset.

Last year, I went down to Bloomington and watched Nebraska lay the biggest egg I've ever seen in person.... They looked absolutely hopeless. The next week, they came out against Ohio State and, ran the ball, and frankly played their best game of the year in a close loss with some officiating help.

I expect a similar response against Northwestern and I think we beat them handily. As for the rest of the season... who knows, but I like our chances this week.
