Coaches said I looked good holding the kick off tee. Just gotta keep getting a little better each week.
Prolly hear my number called next week.
Boys are jacked OFF for Michigan next week.
Whoa…glad I got out of there when I did. Nobody needs to see that many testosterone fueled fellas spanking Hank in the same room at the same time.Fify
Ives can be ok. I like his ability to hit the hole quickly. I question if he can do much when there’s not a whole lot of room.My daughter had a soccer game, so I just finished the game. Couple of my take aways.
1. I can confidently say that this is the best coaching staff we have had in over 20 years, top to bottom.
2. I have zero concerns with the offense. Even the goal line issues that we have had don't concern me. I feel that they are trying to work on some different things with some of these other games that they haven't been worried about.
3. Rush defense is a bonafide concern now. We don't have the personnel to stop Michigan and will have to rely on scheming up some different things. Load the box, trust our veteran secondary and make a true freshman beat us with his arm.
4. TJ is legit. He is far closer to Raiola than Gramstad is to him. I hope that we can sell him on sitting one more year behind Dylan and that he will thrive in Dana's system. No need to go any else.
5. Ives shows signs of being serviceable. I know the competition hasn't been great, but his timing still looks good, hitting holes and following blocks. I'm not sure he is ever a "feature" back, but can be a good RB for us.
6. This defense could be pretty special next year if we are able to hold on to these young guys. There are so many RS freshman, true freshman and sophomores out there just balling out. We still have a shot at being very good this year, but 2026 looks like it could be really special.
I'll be concerned about the run D until they shut Michigan down, but I'm not concerned because of anything Akron or HCU didYou need to rewatch the first half defense again if you’re concerned about the run game. They had one fucking first down until the last drive in the first half. The starters never played the second half. Will next week be a challenge? Sure. But acting like they just rushed for 200 yards against our starters… get a fucking grip.
I’m concerned bc I’ve been SHITTIN MY DAM BRAINS OUT OAST 25 minutes booooozooookah BOMBSI'll be concerned about the run D until they shut Michigan down, but I'm not concerned because of anything Akron or HCU did
