New Commit Nebraska Signing Day Thread

No experts here, guy.

The conventional wisdom seems to be he's a high upside bigger athlete who could slot on at multiple positions kind of like Braylen Prude was last year. He's probably got a very low floor because none of the heavy hitters in the SEC were after him, but he's a nice guy to land if Rhule feels like he can be "developed"

Absolutely love this Leach-esque philosophy:

"I'm going to call the same play twice, if it works," Holgorsen said. "If it works, I'm going to call it three or four times, you know. So why do you need 150 plays on your sheet? Because you're not going to get to them. So quit putting them on the sheet because you can't practice them, and you're not going to call them all, you know? So that's just what I did."

This is the secret sauce with Kiffin too. Best heard it described as the guy playing rock paper scissors who keeps you guessing on whether he'll really throw rock for the fifth straight time.

Caught 'em all, plus a high quality flip. Pretty good signing day, especially in the middle of a coaching staff turnover.

gotta catch em all pokemon GIF

Man I have a hard time even building enough interest to memorize any of these kids names now.

75% of them will transfer before ever taking a snap in a red jersey. I’m trying but I just can’t care
I used to be a big time recruiting guy and I probably couldn't tell you all their names right now.

That would be good to be able to keep the whole class +1 together after the craziness of the last few days.
Agree. Also interesting that we lose our DL coach in the middle of this, we don't know who his replacement is, and there was never any talk of our DL 'mitts waivering. And it's a pretty good DL class.
