I love basketball. My first memories of Nebrasketball is the polish rifle reigning 3s. Grew up through middle school and high school listening to every game during the Collier and Sadler years on the radio. Nebrasketball is like a disease to me taking years off my life. I've always been desperate for a solid basketball program.

That being said, I do think Hoiberg is a great coach. I also think he'd figure it out eventually. However, the floor next year has to be the NIT. Anything less than that he should be done.

As for what the program should be, I don't think it's too much to ask to have a program that either makes the tournament or just misses and makes the NIT every year.

Fred can probably meet those expectations for another year or maybe two, as long as the hope part remains.

I didn't know this until a few years ago. But I read an article that the year Nebraska lost to Penn it was consideredone of the biggest upsets in Tournament history. That was tough to read.
