Somewhat surprised this hasn’t been pointed out more frequently (maybe it has an I just missed it)

Nebraska’s best win as an underdog in the Frost era came as 2.5 point underdogs in 2020 against Penn State at home

Rhule won as a 3 point dog on Friday night last week at Illinois:

Pretty crazy when you really think about it. Rhule winning at Illinois last week was a bigger “upset” win than any that happened in the Frost era just following the spread. Truly mind boggling.

Nice pull OP!

If I was to guess I would have just assumed Frost won one where we were -7 to -10 dogs. But now I'm instantly remembering that Frost was the king of the "almost" win. So he covered a bunch of -7 to -21 spreads....but never won any.

Now that the dust has settled on SF era....he really only won pick 'ems or favorited games.

Hmmmm, was he making some money the sleezy way, or is he just a terrible head coach?

Of all the issues with Frost I can't see him changing the outcome of games for the sake of gambling being one of them.

Oddly I think if it were true it would make me feel better.
I may be giving him too much mental credit. I’m not sure he’s intelligent enough to throw a game and end up with the score he needs to succeed. He’d probably screw it up and win for once.

Beat me to it. Yeah if he was actually trying to coach the team to lose, they probably would have ended up winning. I wish I could say I was joking.
