There was a section of our lawn that doesn't have sprinkers that went completely dormant and brown in August. It's now all greened back up. Some of the decorative grasses that I had already chopped off are starting to sprout again.
After over a month and a half, we just got potable water running here in the largest city in Western NC. We've also been helped by barely getting measurable rain since Helene end of September. Now we need rain so that all the downed timber doesn't catch on fire.
Does not hit until later today. I think flooding will be an issue, not at my place specifically but the road leading to it after 3-4 days of rain. We'll see if the power holds up.
