Why? The big 10 is already hard enough and the RPI gets improved just by playing in the conference. Get easy wins and rest starters to build your bench

If you are a big time program, what benefit do you get from playing at PBA

Maybe 1 more solid opponent just to test yourself. Crayton is no longer a test.

Maybe they'll get invited to a decent preseason tourney.

Yes but Alan Huss taking over. He got High Point to the NCAA in two years. I didn't know High Point existed until he went there.

Yeah but coming from someone who doesn’t really know what’s going on I think he’s giving Huss more control this year than he would to a normal associate head coach and that’s why they’re struggling. At least I hope that’s the case.

Counter point to that if it is true. He's able to work out those kinks as they're happening with McDermott there to guide him.

It’s not the case, they just missed on transfers, and the ones that are struggling that they brought it Huss didn’t want to bring it. Graves, Harper

Well no matter how you look at it, in the middle of there best run in school history, they hired a sitting head coach to be an assistant and then had there worst season in a decade with the coach in waiting on staff.
