Random one. Didn’t Dr. Tom himself get a commit from a ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ Juco named Simi Kuli?
It didn’t pan out for some reason.

So T.O. got a commit from the #1 Juco and…

Yoshi is a hell of a guy. Joe Carter is the exact opposite.

Solid dude too. Runs a youth sports league in Omaha now.
When I was living in HSS, we had a courtyard facing window. One night we have our window open and I hear someone scream at the top their lungs:
‘I WANNA FUCK EVERY FAT BITCH IN THE WORLD!’ - It was BK. Zero context.

Nothing but respect for a man who lets the world know what he wants

Makes me think of Quentin Castille. I thought he was the next big thing.
Quentin was so good in the Gaytor Bowl to end his sophomore season. That next year we had Quentin and Roy Helu as juniors and Rex coming in as a freshman. I was so excited about how good our RB room was. Then it was rumored Quentin failed multiple drug tests and was getting kicked off the team. Some poster said they saw Quentin leaving north stadium in tears and an hour or so later it was announced he was dismissed. I was so pissed.

Walker Ashburn

I was a regular door guy/ bouncer at the downtown and did a few guest spots at the bar while he was on the team. Came in one night while I was at the door. Recognized the name on the ID, looked like the picture on the ID, but I thought there is no way in hell the guy with the ID was a P5 defensive linemen. He was so tiny.

Hahaha I've heard him say similar. College/young adult BK was definitely a different dude than grown up BK. Always a good dude, but used to be a bit more on the wild side.

Iirc the "official" reason for his dismissal was something to do with unpaid parking tickets. Everyone knew that was a load of shit. I was so bummed to see him go.

Was this the same year with Dontrayveous Robinson as well?

Yea, it would've been. Pretty sure Robinson started the Cockeye St debacle that year because Helu and Rex were both hurt. Or he at least played a lot. I think Helu played a little in that game.
