I dont remember him being a pothead. Idk maybe he was. Chris Williams was the LB from Texas that had an insane highlight video and looked to be an absolute star. Then he had a freak accident where he made a tackle along the sideline and broke his leg after it got tangled in the chains. He never recovered from it.

I often wonder what would have happened if Frost had named Gebbia the starter in stead of Martinez. He wasn't some great quarterback but choosing Martinez over him divided a locker room that was probably already divided thanks to Frost and his JV staff's favoritism toward their new recruits
