The coaches also made their money off teaching classes at UNK. It wasn’t long ago the head coaches were still teaching classes there. I’m pretty sure that isn’t the case atleast for the head football coach now. I remember Kropp teaching a basketball class and taking a class with the d coordinator teaching something like healthy living.

I took a class at UNK literally called Football 101, taught be Martin when he was OC there.

He was a quality coach. Baseball theory was a good class to take in the spring because Damon Day was always gone on road trips. I had the old d coordinator Renner from back in the day for a PE class. This kid walked in after missing a month or more. Renner said what are you doing here? The kid said going to class. He said no you aren’t. Get the hell out of here, you failed the class. Hit the road. He would say some funny shit like you will have two mental midgets shadow boxing each other or some fat girl who can’t run the mile because her thighs rub together. You need to know how to handle situations. There is no way he would be able to teach today even though I thought he was funny.
