RSS is becoming a fucking wasteland for any content related to football. I get it - we’re in Covid and we suck right now - but if the most visited thread today is a about The Office that’s a sign they are fucked.

They drastically, and I mean drastically, need recruiting restrictions to be lifted. There's just way too much horrible downtime without real recruiting stories to cover. This is right after the time where we would have had Junior Days and gotten a whole lot better picture of the guys that we're really in on for the class. Think back to last year, this is when dudes like Fidone really emerged as huge deals. Hell, even Ru'Quan Buckley got his visit in during this time before shit was shut down.

Spring Ball should give them a little bit of a reprieve soon, but even that won't be as good given how little access there will be for the press. Those days where they got to come in and watch the first 20-30 minutes were crucial in terms of generating content. Same deal with those huge interview sessions they had to kickoff where you'd get Greg Austin at a side table and he'd actually give you something worth knowing about his room. Nope, that's all gone this year.

I'm guessing RSS is basically tapped. Everyone there falls into one of the following categories:

a) They're already here;

b) They were invited and either ignored or declined (@ScarletNCream);

c) No one particularly wants to invite them, and if they find this place oh well;

d) We actively want them to remain ignorant of this place and/or we're taking measures to keep them off the board.

Every blue moon, someone new reveals themselves to be an interesting candidate, but it seems like we're very quickly identifying and snapping them up, e.g., @The Bearded One .

If we're talking 247, I'm honestly not sure there's anyone there we'd want who isn't also a member on RSS.
