The Moos thread on RSS is a mess as expected, but @Driveway Jordan I'm curious if you will share more info here. I know you post about Moos being drunk in most threads that come up about him, and Rkay infamously said Moos was being forced out for being a drunk all the way back in 2018, but I didn't realize until seeing your post in the new thread that you actually witnessed something in real life to back all of that up. What's the scoop?

btw I'm genuinely curious, this isn't talking crap or taking shots at @Driveway Jordan haha. There's enough smoke to assume Moos probably enjoys a stiff drink, just curious what has taken it to such a level that it gets brought up all the time.

The rumor is he's basically a figurehead who is maybe responsible for hiring Bolt and that's about it. Frost was persuaded by other guys and the same with Hoiberg. If the football team was having success it would be a non-issue but since we currently suck it makes sense to go after that coach's boss since said football coach is untouchable.

Gerrod L controls Moos. Nothing but a powerless figurehead. He was hired to be a yes man and look like a good old boy. Nothing more, nothing less. He enjoys a good, stiff drink and will be collecting paychecks until they move him on out. Bill knows his role.

Both of these are basically what I've assumed since day 1. I'm under no illusion that he's some grand master Athletic Directing guru haha but I don't think you necessarily have to be to be an effective AD (if your coaching hires work out). Mostly just wondering how the drinking thing became such a huge deal.
