Moos in consideration to become PAC 12 Commissioner

He's done a lot of shit in his brief time in Lincoln. Frost, Hoiberg, Bolt, facilities. Seat is going to be cooler than cold unless Straub's successor sucks and our flagship athletic team tanks.

Hope it happens. It'd make the B1G look even worse IMO.

I'm conflicted on this one. I like Bill and for the most part, think he's done a pretty good job as AD at Nebraska. He was brought in to get the right hires for Football and Basketball, and he hired the two guys that everyone wanted him to hire. Have there been some boneheaded moves along the way (looking at you, OU game cancellation debacle)? Of course. But no fan base is going to agree with 100% of the decisions any AD makes. By and large, he's represented our interests in the conference up to (and sometimes slightly over) the line.

On the other hand, Bill is no kid and is going to retire at some point in the near future. If we have to transition, now might be as good of a time as any. And if stepping into the PAC12 Commissioner's chair would be the capstone that he's looking for in his career, then I'd never stand in the way of someone pursuing another opportunity. If he heads that way, best of luck to him.
