I would like to know who was really on Moos’s list of coaches if Frost fell through somehow. I only wanted Campbell or Frost at the time.

Fuente was up there and I believe was contacted. Sumlin was another. Moos really likes Sumlin for one reason or another.

I get that but it shows his poor judgement in liking Sumlin in the first place. He lost his team at A&M. He had players transferring at Scott Frost rate

A&M became a complete shitshow with Sumlin. I remember that. You didn’t even have to watch Arizona to know he will never get another good college gig. Some guys can’t coach at power 5 programs. It’s a different animal than group of 5 schools. Hiring a coach is a crap shoot, but I can’t believe it when ADs hire retreads.
