I do not want Mizzou to win. Living in Missouri their fans are insufferable. Such bandwagon douche bags. So much negative energy towards other teams. My friends who are Mizzou fans were screaming for their coaches head the last 2 seasons and then this season they think he is the best think since sliced bread. Success has made their heads all swolled up. Talking smack like they are something special. I hope OSU boat races them. I think it helps us for recruiting in St Louis & KC along with the midwest if Missouri isn't relevant. Would love to see them sink back down to being the bottom feeders of the $EC where they belong.

I’ve got some real conflicting opinions here. I can never cheer for Mizzou. Hated them for years. Them doing well hurts recruiting for us and also makes sec look good.

I should cheer for Michigan to win it all if I’m wanting conference to look good, but I can’t. Cheating, arrogance and mental midget Desmond make it impossible for me to ever cheer for them.

Cockeye, Wisconsin and Minnesota are others I can’t ever bring myself to cheer for varying reasons.

As much as I want us to beat the sec any chance we get, these are teams I just can’t cheer for.

My in-laws (who live in the Ozarks) used to mock my brother-in-law and I 15 years ago for taking Husker football so seriously. Then all the sudden Mizzou and the Chiefs start getting better and better. Then guess what? They turn into football fans. All the more reason I want both teams to lose forever.

I've NEVER shoved it in their face - ever. But I certainly hear about it.

This is where I'm at. Ever since the Covid year where the conference stuck their noses up at us for wanting to play football. Yea I know Cockeye and Ohio St were on our side, but I don't care. These B1G teams can eat a dick and rot in hell. It's Nebraska vs the conference as far as I'm concerned.

Yeah I thought the same thing..but a few years ago I thought that about Utah v Ohio St in the Rose Bowl and Ohio St pulled that one out while playing WR and TE on defense.

I take the opposite stance here. While I have no love for Ohio St, I typically root for other B1G teams in bowl and non-con games. The stronger the B1G looks, the better Nebraska looks. Recruits also want to play in the best conference, so any time we can win head-to-head with the SEC, that only helps the perception in recruits’ eyes that this is a conference you want to play in if you want to be the best.

On top of all that, Mizzou is in our backyard and I don’t want to compete with them for 500 mile radius kids if they’re beating the Ohio States of the world. Much easier to out recruit them when they’re losing.

I strongly dislike Missouri - top 5 hated teams for me. I wish OSUSr. would've smoked them.

But, OSU is too big of a job to not have quality coaches interested from my perspective. Notice how I say quality coaches and not big name coaches. IMO, that's where administrators go wrong. Talking to you A&M
