Minnesota Game Week Thread

I actually placed it after Rhule's speech in one video haha. I'm not sure how you wouldn't want to buy in. They look like they are building a perfect place to play football. You have everything you need to be great if you want to be the best. I feel like once the players fully realize it they will turn the corner.

Now is that this year? I hope so. If not, I am still really looking forward to watching the team. I'm not thinking about the team not getting better, I am hoping Rhule stays and builds this thing into something great.
Unfortunately, I think there will still be some remnants of the Frost shit-your-pants culture that we'll see this year. I'd put $$ on there being a really bad turnover in the 1st half at Minny - either a fumble on missed QB/RB exchange OR a bad interception where Sims & the WR get wires crossed. If we don't get one of those things in 1st half next week I'll be very surprised.

A lot of the errors that we had during SF era were guys trying too hard, feeling they had to always "make something happen." I think majority of Adrian's TOs were due to this, for example.

Rhule's biggest victory this year would be if he can completely coach that mentality out of the program by the end of the year. It won't be gone by game 1. That's why I have us losing at Minnesota (though I think we'll cover).

This is why I was so impressed with MJ Sherman in the most recent video. The rest of the veteran defense was absolutely fine with getting sent to the locker room and he flat out wouldn’t allow it.

I'll tell you what, the Nebraska +1100 to win the West is a hell of a good value. I'll put $100 on that. I mean there's not a dominant team in the West. Crazier things have happened.
I did hundo on the West, Hundo on B1G, and a hundo on the Natty. I hope to win one of those, but expect none. I don’t bet the individual games.

I acknowledge it’s stupid, but I like my betting aligned with my favorite team. It’s reverting to my pattern from 1992-2004.

Those first two you have to think are due to their injuries.
Likely - but we have also been hearing great things about Bullock since last year with Casey. And Teddy at 3 instead of 2 is odd....even if it is because of an injury. Either he is ready, or he is not IMO.
