Yea. It doesn't negate the talent issue but it may be a bit of a reality check after 5 years of "the best practices ever", that all those cool videos mean jack and shit.

Yup, and for the first time since Frost's first few games, and then Bo's first couple seasons before that, we have a coach who is easy to wholeheartedly root for (in my opinion). Mickey seems to be a legitimately awesome guy and I'm excited to see what happens next.

I am trying not to have ANY expectations or stakes, there's a very good chance we will still suck all year and I'll try not to get too down because what's done is done so it doesn't really matter, but IF Mickey somehow gets us to even a lowly bowl game, the turnaround will probably make it one of the most fun NU seasons since the glory years.
