Why was the clock running after the offensive PI? It was first down of the start of the series and it was a penalty…is it because he caught the ball?

@alt f4 I’m guessing you didn’t watch the game live, but was wondering if you could help explain this to me.

1st play of the series is a long throw to Palmer. He caught the ball, but called OPI. They move us back and the clock is running. Is that correct?
