Especially when his job is on the line next yearI don’t think a coach should worry about the CCU HC being butthurt
Yes but even if it’s notEspecially when his job is on the line next year
If we get this kid wouldn’t it have made more sense for Frost to keep calling the plays? That article is certainly illuminating. Didn’t know he’d gone on record about it before. He certainly doesn’t give off Wolf of Wall Street “I ain’t goin nowhere” vibes. Wouldn’t surprise me if Frost coveted McCall given how much inspiration he took from CC’s offense this past season.

I’m of this same school of thought.
Unless the plan is to stay in the same base offense, Frost coordinates the option game and RPO part, run game coordinator I suppose. Whipple handles the route combos, coaches the QB and oversees the passing game.
Is that even a thing or am I video game footballing again?
I think Grayson McCall would be fine in an offense like Pitts from this year.Unless the plan is to stay in the same base offense, Frost coordinates the option game and RPO part, run game coordinator I suppose. Whipple handles the route combos, coaches the QB and oversees the passing game.

I’m not going to get caught up on playcalling. I’ve been in gameplan meetings and understand how little a play caller actually does minus the extreme 2% of situations anyways.

Agreed. He was operating out of a scheme predicated on the option but he's a talented guy. You can draw upon some of those talents while fitting him into a new offense.I think Grayson McCall would be fine in an offense like Pitts from this year.
Get him N. Pay him

@Tyneb23 better step his POTD game up.“Hmm Texas offered me $3m and Nebraska offered me a 5 year membership to tPB. Looks like I’m N.” -All 5 star recruits
Same except Dicky Torres and also he will win the Heisman, but if we upgrade on that it's cool tooI'm just going to assume Smothers is the starting qb next year. If we end up upgrading. yay.
Just as an example at LSU, Ensminger (sp) called plays from most of the formations, but Joe Brady called them for empty and bunch formations. I think "coordinating" was collaborative during the week and in the game, but they each had defined responsibilities for calling plays in certain formations.Unless the plan is to stay in the same base offense, Frost coordinates the option game and RPO part, run game coordinator I suppose.
