Maybe it was someone else but didn't the WR from Edna get run down by a cop while trying to run away?
I think there was one or two criminals in that group and at least couple were Bo last minute specials too.🤣
I had a friend who worked in the athletic facility as a tutor at that time and he said Irons was kicked out multiple times for openly watching porn in the study center.

What’s the class lining up over here look like?
Dawgs looking 5-7 range. It’s a weak OL/DL cycle all around. Miami is absolutely blowing their wad this year before this NIL nonsense get’s locked down.
Not looking great. Maybe top 25 but will have to get some big fish because the class will be small.

Seems like 2027 could be a huge year.

Crootin' Catch-Up: Commits, official visits elsewhere impact Nebraska

With official visit season kicking off around the country, we're introducing a limited weekly recruiting piece to keep you informed on how official visits elsewhere, and the resulting commitments (or lack thereof) impact Nebraska's 2026 board.

Though Nebraska doesn't start hosting official visitors until June 6, dominoes falling elsewhere are already shaping the Huskers' plans for their 2026 class

Nebraska lost out on a top tight end target over the weekend as Littleton (Col.) Heritage three-star Camden Jensen announced his commitment to UCLA while on campus for his official visit with the Bruins. Nebraska had been fading in his recruitment over the last few months, but he was still expected to officially visit June 20-22. That visit is almost certainly no longer happening and the Huskers are moving on to other tight end targets in the 2026 cycle. Currently, Nebraska is scheduled to host Port Huron (Mich.) Northern four-star Lincoln Watkins and Anaheim (Cali.) Servite four-star Luke Sorenson June 20-22 for official visits. The Huskers are battling Indiana, NC State, Florida and more for Watkins, while they battle Penn State, Ole Miss, USC, UCLA and Notre Dame for Sorenson. Jensen's pledge to UCLA could see the Bruins dial back efforts with Sorenson, opening an opportunity for the Huskers to gain further momentum.

Mosley made his Georgia official visit over the weekend and the Bulldogs only solidified themselves as the top school in the running for his commitment. As we noted last week, Georgia is recruiting him on both sides of the ball, a unique pitch that, paired his childhood affection for the Bulldogs, has the in-state school in the lead for the No. 7 athlete in the country. Now, while I do get the read Mosley intends to take all of his official visits and give each school a fair shot, the remainder of his trips are scheduled in June. I would expect Georgia to spend the rest of the month trying to prevent him from making those visits and getting him committed. Nebraska is scheduled to get him in town for an official visit June 20-22. South Carolina and Texas A&M are scheduled to get official visits June 6 and June 13th respectively.

Waterman was also on an official visit to UCLA over the weekend and the Bruins appear to be the biggest threat to Nebraska in his recruitment. The Huskers get him in town June 6-8 and Duke is scheduled to get him on campus June 13-15, but this likely comes down to Nebraska and UCLA. Nebraska is better positioned for Waterman than they are with the aforementioned Mosley, but like with Mosley, the Huskers will have to withstand an aggressive push from the Bruins to get him committed before he has a chance to return to Lincoln June 6th.

That being said, if Nebraska does lose Waterman to the Bruins, while it would be a tough loss, but Nebraska with Rivals' Sam Spiegelman reporting Leon Noil Jr. has scheduled an official visit on Monday, the Huskers now have nine offensive linemen officially visiting in June. They're set up for a solid class at the position.

Nebraska has been battling Notre Dame for multiple running back targets in the 2026 cycle. However, after landing the commitment of four-star Jonaz Walton last week, the second running back commit in the class for Notre Dame, the Fighting Irish might be out of the running back market. That's good news for Nebraska, as Notre Dame has been seen as the biggest threat in the recruitment of four-star targets DeZephen Walker and Brian Bonner. Both had previously announced plans to officially visit Notre Dame, neither of those trips are likely to happen now. Walker has already replaced Notre Dame on his official visit schedule with Oklahoma. Moving forward, Kansas, Kansas State and Oklahoma are the three schools Nebraska is battling for Walker. The Jayhawks appear to be the biggest threat, though the Sooners are surging. Still, the Huskers are well-positioned to close on the Raymore-Peculiar (Mo.) standout when he makes his Nebraska official visit June 20-22. Bonner is scheduled to officially visit Nebraska June 6-8, and while the recent development with Notre Dame helps the Huskers' chances, there is still ground for the Huskers to make up on Washington and UCLA.
