I heard rumors when he first started that he has a habit of being a little shady with the recruits. Not even sure if there's a need to be shady anymore.

This is what I heard too. My question is whether or not infractions that happened pre-NIL should/could be enforceable because it's likely legal now.

I always thought it was obvious he was a bagman. How the hell does a small, old, bald, chubby guy, who barely looks like he’s ever dribbled a basketball, allegedly bond so well with 17-21 year-old recruits??

Agreed, but we have to believe every other University that consistently pulls in high profile classes does the same no? So I guess if NU is finally "playing the game" why should that matter?

Also why should it matter when we can't even win 10 games. Same thing for football, an NCAA investigation over lifting weights off campus when we can't win 6 games, NCAA has weird priorities. 🤣

Hell yeah he was probably some sort of Bagman. Every staff has one. Gotta have that Fall Guy if you get hit with Infractions. Every big basketball school has that Asst Coach who is big hearted thus has a very "Giving Mentality" and they are not there for their coaching abilities. Shit hits the fan and they hit the road. For sure. I wasn’t questioning the practice, because that’s what it obviously takes to win. I was just merely saying it’s not surprising that bagmen who make their living off of paying recruits might bend other rules.

Heard the same - Turd caught his recruiting trail cheating and violations and he’s done. Typical Nebraska, we try to cheat and can’t even do that right. The revenue generating men’s sports at NU are a colossal failure with very little hope of ever being good.

At this point, I don’t think we need to worry about rumors of this or that; his performance alone is enough. Even Sipple has said several times this week that Nebraska’s problem is mainly recruiting, and he has a point. How is that he can’t find decent role players who can hit open shots, defend, rebound, etc.? Gathering a lot of skinny, mediocre ball hogs doesn’t seem like a recipe for success.

They don't play another game for 8 days....they need to change something drastically during this break to be more competitive. The current offense doesn't work with these "ball hogs" as you mentioned above. This is the most selfish team I think I have ever seen.
