Sign Up Now!Yeah BU apparently not a pushover either, so we might be seeing those nerds in the game to advance to the super regional after they (officially) knock Arkansas outThere is no way VanHorn likes his regional. I think Arkansas got a really tough draw for being the overall 1-seed.
Oh it's northeastern and not BU. How could I have confused two virtually identical schools in BostonFYI Northeastern has a really good team.
This bracket is going to be tough. Probably have to start Povich in game 1.

start Povich game 1, Win...then who starts game two ? Hroch? Perry? do you want a committee? I'd throw the committee first at Northeastern then have Povich start against Ark, assuming we beat Northeastern. Totally agree the bracket is toughFYI Northeastern has a really good team.

A benefit to throwing Povich Friday is that he could be available for a Monday or Tuesday game with Arkansas. We will have to beat those guys twice.
If I’m Bolt, I go:
1) Povich
2) Perry
3) Hroch (elimination game)
4) Schwellenbach (Arkansas game)
5) Povich (Arkansas game)
You have to throw Povich first because you have to manage as if Friday is your last game of the season because winning that game is huge. We have to win Friday and not worry about Saturday. However, Saturday is different assuming you play Arkansas.

I disagree. You save Povich. Losing game 1 is the same as losing game 2. You have to play five games either way. Your plan above is planning on playing five games (you’re conceding the Perry start vs Arky, basically). Why not have Povich face Arkansas on long rest vs two days rest? The best chance to win the regional is to start 2-0. The best way to do that IMO is Hroch, Povich, Perry/Schwelly, in that order.
Is Big 10 baseball that bad that the champ gets sent to the regional with the 1 seed
