Like it or not it was a moral victory, lost by 7 to the #3 team in the country in their house while still making dumb mistakes, it's a great game for them to look back on and actually learn compared to the last 2 weeks of film.

I thought Nebraska would get smoked. Chinander deserves some props. He and his staff have done a nice job developing a good defense over the past 3.5 years. Imagine if the offense had also progressed. This team would be a top 20 team.

Frustrations, sure. Where we want/need to be? No. Fun to be down 1 score to Oklahoma with 3 minutes to play and have some realistic hope that we could make something happen? Absolutely.

Frustrations, sure. Where we want/need to be? No. Fun to be down 1 score to Oklahoma with 3 minutes to play and have some realistic hope that we could make something happen? Absolutely.

I actually agree. I thought the game plan was actually very solid, Frost made adjustments, and basically everything I could ask for. Had a chance to go down and tie. Still can’t have the penalties. OL is still a liability. Can’t have the special teams problems. But I truly do see progress.

Not disagreeing. Those things aren’t mutually exclusive. It can be progress compared to week 1, and still completely unacceptable overall in year 4.

Maybe. I wouldn’t count another loss as progress though because that’s not what matters. Let’s see a win at some point.
