I agree I’m not a fan of these transfer rules because a lot of these guys have never faced adversity before they get to college. In the past the chances they stay and fight through it was higher. Now with the transfer rules they are more likely to bitch out when things don’t go their way out of the gate.

I get your point. There are certainly programs where expectations aren’t high. He found a good niche. I’m thinking of places like LSU, Texas, and Florida for example where expectations are higher. It’s probably more of a south thing where they take football more seriously these days.

It use to he a curse for the qb to to win the Heisman going into the National Title game. The other ones I can think of who won the Heisman and championship is Jameis and Cam.
