I think the NFL is more appealing for a lot of coaches because you’re on a more even playing field and don’t have to deal with NIL and recruiting.

You don’t have to babysit in the pros is a big thing. The one downside for some coaches like a guy like Urb is players have a lot more control. A lot of college coaches can’t handle that aspect because they can be big assholes once they get a kid signed in college or it use to be that way. Now a college coach has to recruit his roster continually, so they don’t transfer with the new rules. I guess that is another reason to not want to be a college coach if you have an option at the NFL.
