Ferentz is a good coach. His problem is having no desire to take it to the next level & maybe he understands Cockeye’s limitations a lot like Barry Alvarez understood Wisconsin’s. Cockeye fans were complaining about the offense & Ferentz’s response was “we won 10 games” so at this point in his career, he probably doesn’t see any reason to change & will continue cashing in millions.

I can see Cockeye ending up like Wisconsin with #2ndChoice & PJ Fleck becomes the next Alvarez/Ferentz winning with ugly football

While I definitely agree that there’s something wrong with people from Cockeye, and most of there fans are gay. I’ve always thought the rivalry’s forced, never felt like a real rivalry to me. I didn’t grow up hating Cockeye, I grew up hating Texas, Colorado, and somewhat OU. We joined the Big 10 and they said “you guys are close, here’s your rivalry.”

Actually, we joined the Big Ten and they said, "Here's your new annual rivalry with Penn State. LOL syke!"

The point is the title of the thread is the headline of an article. It made me laugh that the person writing the headline thought that having the most losses is an accolade. If you also think its an accolade then I get your confusion.

He’s lucky Frost was let go, or that record would be in jeopardy.

Coming into this season, Ferretz has an amazing 88 conference losses to his credit. If NU would have let Frost continue at his average loss clip of 6.25 per season, he’d overtake Ferretz by 2034.

By then, the sellout streak would have been over for 9 years, the losing season and bowl less streak would have been extended to 15 years, I’d likely be on a liver transplant list.

But of course Nebraska would not let Frost continue. The vast majority of major programs wouldn't.
