Kirk Ferentz also has the most Big Ten losses, and that’s an accolade, not a stain

It’s not about wins and losses against tbe big 10. It’s about wins and losses overall as a coach in the big 10. That’s how ferentz is going to break it vs UMass today

Gotcha, corrected it. Paterno at 69, Mallory at 78. losses while a big ten HC. Not conference record.

All time Big Ten leaders in football losses.

Ferentz 125
Fitzgerald 101
Stagg 95
Pont 94
Fry 89
Agase 83
Zuppke 81
Mallory 78
Warmath 78
Alvarez 75
Eliot 73
Daugherty 69
Paterno 69
Corso 68

Mallory and Paterno are different from what I had above, above was conference games, these totals I believe are overall record while a conference team.

Wow didn’t realize Fitz had that many wins. NW is a bunch of retards

Ferentz is a good coach. His problem is having no desire to take it to the next level & maybe he understands Cockeye’s limitations a lot like Barry Alvarez understood Wisconsin’s. Cockeye fans were complaining about the offense & Ferentz’s response was “we won 10 games” so at this point in his career, he probably doesn’t see any reason to change & will continue cashing in millions.

I can see Cockeye ending up like Wisconsin with #2ndChoice & PJ Fleck becomes the next Alvarez/Ferentz winning with ugly football

And Kirk did this with the most favorable schedules known to man. Impressive.
