It's not the supporting Frost that rubbed me the wrong way, it was the condescension that was on display from some people. People who thought that a guy without a winning record for 4 years wasn't a terribly good coach were lectured and told they didn't understand all of the nuances at play.

The certitude with which some of these pro-Frost guys argued that the building wasn't on fire while the ashes rained down them was annoying, but it was really galling when the people who demanded an extinguisher were told they weren't smart enough to understand what a fire was.

He’s posted on on3 since the firing. At least someone with his name is. Mostly about how every single candidate anyone mentions is a horrible choice. Seems on brand for a frost guy.

Part of the schtick in defending Frost was that we were going to get stuck with a service academy guy so why bother firing Frost in the first place.

It's kind of weird when literally the only thing you are optimistic about with the football program is a guy who is historically far and away the worst coach of your lifetime.

Riley was bad but Frost is a fucking child compared to him as a coach.

In light of my “SCRUBBING” Scott Frost thread - I feel a need to put out a statement. Here goes:

When suggesting we scrub FHCSF from our avatars and handles, it was not my intention to suggest we need to move on from talking shit, evaluating, and ensuring we don’t make the same mistakes this cycle. It is our responsibility to replace our flags, get new apparel, and get new juju around the program. Those were pretty similar. I would still say that the 2021 defense was consistently good more than 2016, but very similar overall numbers.

Kind of interesting phenomenon, but after a few days in hiding, I'm starting to see a lot of big Frost fanboys creeping back to the other message boards as "just move on" guy. I hope all of Frost's dirty laundry continues to be aired as it is somewhat vindication for all the "15%ers."

Most people are not here to "rub it" in someone's face that they were right or wrong, but it's pretty vexatious when the TrueColors, HuskerPetes, 2Skerz3 of the world literally would be so condescending and almost demeaning to anyone that would try and express their concerns towards Scrote.

He was only fired 5 days ago. You are damn right we are going to discuss this and air all the grievances we had about Scrote. He was the worst goddamn coach NU has seen in over 40 years.

Take your medicine and don't complain about the rumors. As fans of NU, I think we deserve the right to discuss just how shitty of coach Scrote was and all the ways he fucked the program up.

I posted about it on TOSs. I just don't see the point. He's a terrible coach and talking about his shortcomings outside of football does nothing but soothing people's feelings.
