another Schaefer observation

That's not new for Matt Rhule, who might be the single most effective recruiter as a head coach as Nebraska has had in recent memory.

Last year it was Rhule who stepped in and made sure the Huskers landed Jeremiah Jones when Missouri came calling on National Signing Day. It's likely Rhule again with Mpouma and also Danny Odem, who was thought to be headed to Ohio State or Oklahoma at one point.

Love this point. It’s proof that anyone we don’t land we really didn’t want in the first place.

Tim says that conversations are ongoing and he hasn't made a decision yet. Nebraska seems to be the school that him and his family feel the most comfortable with, but the Ducks have come on strong the last few weeks.

If Jackson and family feel more comfortable with Nebraska why do people feel Oregon is leading? Don’t say Money because even if we are less it can’t be that much less.

Dawgs get a commitment from a DL today.

Boom!

"a DL"? The number one ranked DL in the country per On 3. A 3-tech, though, so he and Sone play slightly different positions. You have 3 committed and a couple more after that who are likely to commit. So five probable DL commits before Sone decides.

We’re taking 6 + this year. We’re gonna lose a few to the draft next year. Sone is the #1 uncommitted priority on the big board. We need a true Nose Tackle.

As does everyone else
