IN HIS OWN WORDS…
Nebraska:
“They are on a come up. Many people overlook them and don’t really consider them a threat but they are getting some guys to get the job done. The support around there is crazy and that’s really all some people need is support and love.”
Michigan:
“Michigan is just Michigan. They’ve got a great group of guys already and are in shape to compete late in the season.”
Tennessee:
“Same as Michigan. Haven’t been there yet and don’t know what to expect but I can for sure tell you that orange is no joke.
Penn State:
“Those guys are just dawgs. You can’t pick a single guy out that isn’t willing to work there. Success will prevail if they continue to stay dedicated and hungry.”
Oklahoma:
“Not much needs to be said. You’ve got (coach Brent) Venebles leading the way as a defensive coach which already speaks for itself. They have the best chance at recruiting the best defensive line of all time and to be coached by Miguel (Chavis) and Todd (Bates), under Coach Venebles? That’s just insane to think what they could do here shortly in the SEC.”
RIVALS REACTION...
The Kansas City native is one of the best defensive linemen in the region this recruiting cycle. He’s got great size to eventually play a rush end position in college but he’s also twitchy enough to play in space as an edge player. That versatility makes him very coveted by a variety of defensive coaches.
Oklahoma has been long thought of as the leader in his recruitment but the wild card is if he takes other official visits before making a decision. The Oklahoma official happened this weekend but the other schools are pushing hard to get him on campus for officials. Nebraska is a wild card here as he just took an unofficial visit to Lincoln with his teammate Keelan Smith who is committed to Nebraska.
