Branaugh???

Personally, I feel good about Bronaugh. We did, after all, cancel a CB visit for this weekend. If there was a threat, I think Florida is the bigger risk than FSU. Cooper did not have the original relationship with the family, Barthel did, from when he went to Florida and met with the family 18 months ago about JT. He was the first Husker coach to meet CJ.

I didn't read anything in these two reports (both are free) that led me to believe that FSU did enough to sway him away. FSU also has 5 DB commits 2 Ath, 2 Safety, 1 CB. Athletes looked more like CB body types? Just FYI they have 2 DB coaches, Cooper is over Safeties.

Now, this info is a week old, but as of last week, Darion and his family were really feeling Fleck and Minnesota.
My sister is friends with his mom. When she told me that today, I told her that there is zero percent of let my son play for someone like Fleck. She said that they love Fleck.

Here’s the thing, we are all men here, and these are young men who may or may not play football for DONU. One thing we men can agree on is big ass machinery is cool as shit. There is a reason we as kids played with dump trucks and or vehicles. No Matter if you’re a kid from Chicago or a kid from North Platte you see a big tractor on tracks like that picture they are going to think it’s sweet. Our logo and mascot is a farmer, lean into the farm machinery shit, it’s actually pretty cool up close to see those massive vehicles. Stick a player in full uniform on a combine or tractor or ag sprayer and it’s gonna look bad ass.
This is actually a good point and an angle I hadn't thought about. City kids would have no idea how advanced and technology-heavy farming is today. When they think of farming many probably picture something like this:

But sitting in a modern tractor, it's like you're sitting on the deck of the Starship Enterprise. It is pretty cool. And seeing some of that machinery up close (and maybe even getting to drive it??) would probably give them new respect for farmers and Nebraska as a state not being some rural hick backwater.
