Thank you. I realize the threads have been girthy logs coming out at a diarrhea-like pace lately. That's an unusual combination. I had actually been very quiet on both RSS and here for a while, but June got the juices flowing again.

Really, the material is inflammatory in its own right, but I stand behind all the stuff. I think Callahan was making some pretty flimsy points in chat today, and I wanted to lay out my thoughts as much for me as everyone else. I just worry this is the sort of stuff that will get memory holed should things continue on their path.

Cliffs for those not on rss

Sorry boys. Essentially, Callahan in chat today claimed that there was (and seemingly implied always has been) a hard cap of 13-14 scholarship slots for the '22 class; that the current class was a "C" grade while having to hold off commitments from two players that would be the only four-stars we have; and that with only 14 players signing, we'd still manage to get into the 30s for Rivals rankings.

I went through and laid out reasons why I think he's dead wrong on all of those. Cornicator then posted a glib, passive aggressive meme about me being longwinded as fuck like he always does. Following that, the normal shit took off.

Is Corn on tPB?

No he’s been invited but has never replied to anyone or came over, as far as I know

I'd love to read his detailed breakdowns on why we're actually going to take Cockeye and Wisconsin to Browntown this season here, too. Very good stuff. Keep using all available means to get him over here.

If anyone thinks this class is going to break 40, they've got another thing coming

I used to like him but he’s been wrong sooooo often and unwilling to admit it/mock those that question him.

We would be Big 10 Champions by now if we were as good as Cornicator said we would be.
he is usually pretty good at breaking down the deficiencies of opponents, but he is completely worthless at objectively doing that for the Huskers. It’s gotten hilarious over the years. He phrases his breakdowns like the Huskers are good enough to easily expose and take advantage of the weaknesses of those teams without acknowledging that those weaknesses are often still a strength when they line up against NU..
