The very few times I talked to Matt D he seemed fine to me. He was a cocky fuck in HS but rightfully so. He dominated in class C sports. I was a cocky fuck in HS too and was a little above average for Class C.

The point is that most people who go through life having others worship the ground beneath their feet at every turn end up pretty douchey. I'm not sure if you just missed it or what, but I said he's actually pretty well-adjusted considering the circumstances.
