Sounds like the Junior Day went over really well. It's too bad Raiola, Nelson, and even Taumua weren't able to be there. Great ambassadors for the program. I'm sure they are in touch with the recruits and doing whatever level of peer recruiting they can do though.
They'll be back next weekend. Sounds like they're having another JR Day January 27.

Some early names:

Alex Manske

Andrew Babaloa

Linkon Cure

Ryan Babatz

Will Tompkins

Uchenyo Ojata

Charlie Woleben

Keylan Abrams

Dawson Merritt

Chase Pearsall

He said he lacked mobility and the ability to escape the pass rush.

He’s obviously a great athlete
Didn't they say it in a stupid way? I remember them saying he lacks mobility like Lamar Jackson or some dumbass statement which was a reason they lowered him 😂

Basically, IIRC, the main issue was his mobility and the fact he's rushed for negative yards. They said every first round quarterback going back so many years has rushed for at least 600 (or whatever the figure was) yards. In a nutshell, they said he doesn't fit the profile for what a first-round QB is these days, and therefore he wasn't a 5-star to them as that represents first-round potnential.
They also said his junior film was not as good as his sophomore film.

You can disagree and I'm sure many of us do, but they did give a pretty detailed explanation with data for why they dropped him.

Ah I remember now, it was Anthony Richardson that was mentioned in the write up. They also dinged him for throwing too many deep balls (to open receivers)
