I was at that game with my FIl. He never left early. We were at the bar by middle of 3rd qtr.

KETV used to have interviews from fans as they were leaving at halftime, from this game.
One old guy said, “I didn’t want to boo my team, so I guess I’d better go”. He put his head down, and slowly walked away.
I saw a father pop his son’s balloon that he’d been holding and waiting to release for the first score.
It was awful.

I was in college at that time, went to the game. Buddies and I left at half to also go to the bar. Everything we talked to said the same thing, Callahan was going to be gone by the end of the season.
I remember i was so pist off i had Nancy give a BJ after that game to calm my nerves
