I would rather pay a dedicated WR coach than special teams. I know I'm in the minority here but at the end of the day, you just need a better punter/kicker. Our special teams have been garbage because we have garbage specialists.

So a special teams coach is going to come in here and tell CTB not to field a punt inside his own 2 yard line and that's going to fix everything? Do you think a ST coach is going to miraculously turn Connor Culp into the next Janikowski?

I understand the advantage of a good special teams coach but at the end of the day, they can only do so much. I think it's ridiculous to pay a ST coach $500k a year. If we can get away with that many position coaches then go for it but again, I'm putting WR coach higher on my list.
