I have lived out of state on the West Coast for 10+ years now and only catch the occasional road game or bowl game. I've found I highly prefer traveling and/or out of state Nebraska fans to what I experienced in Memorial Stadium. Memorial Stadium became entitled boomers, people that felt like royalty because they had club seats lanyards, or the wannabe rich guys at Champion's Club. It definitely is not as fun as when you were a student.

If I was an outsider looking in on our fans I’d be impressed with the devotion, but weirded out by how picky they are about how they want winning to look for as bad as their team has been.

Personally loath the Cockeye Husker fan who has never lived a day on Nebraska soil. Generally, older fats who glommed on to the 90's run. Same fans usually have a Yankee's sticker on their vehicle and brand new Tampa Bay gear.
