If Coach Rhule allowed you to say who starts at QB next game who do you give the ball to?

If all 3 are healthy next week which QB would you start?

  • Purdy

  • Sims

  • Haarberg

If everyone wasn't depressed enough, Dean in post game said Purdy was scheduled to have groin surgery today, and wasn't planning on playing. He said if Haarberg is injured, Sims is likely starter against Wiscy.

Purdy gutted it out that last drive but he didn’t look right
Kept trying to loosen the groin & when he did run, looked very uncomfortable
I don’t think he’ll last the season if he starts
But he might get the call next week if HH is hurt
Hopefully Rhule learned a lesson. Anointing Sims & pretty much ignoring Casey was a ridiculously stupid move. He really needed them both.
Sims has so much athleticism & throws a hell of a ball but he’s ridiculously careless & isn’t a gamer.

I do not want to see Haarberg or Sims ever take another snap. Not one.

Whatever that leaves us with is who it has to be. So Purdy for now. Wildcat if that doesn’t work. Swinging Gate as backup.

Here's what Rhule said in the post-game.

"Chubba is getting back to being healthy, so it was good to see him out there get to go play"

"They do the groin testing every week and his [Chubba's] strength is back to where it originally was. That being said, he definitely does have something that might require something to be done at the end of the year. But he started at our own 4 yard line and took us all the way down to the other 4. You talk about moments that can ignite a team, can ignite a season...I'm happy to see he got a chance to play and if he's the guy, we'll coach him up as best we can."

He certainly didn't make it sound like Chubba is in a bad spot with his injury. Also I would be really surprised if we scheduled our third string qb to have groin surgery on a gameday. I don't know why we would do such a thing.
