I’m on the fire Frost train..

Just got done watching the game. Offense has taken 0 steps forward in 4 years. Frost should apologize to Chinander

Been on it honestly. Just not convinced we’d get it right on replacing him so essentially don’t care anymore.

I wish I could pull some of the RSS threads and posts from 2017 - there was a huge Frost proponent who halfway through the season before UCF even went undefeated or Riley got let go argued, with utter sincerity, it was literal destiny and Frost was the prodigal son to come home and restore Osborne’s glory. He wasn’t alone in this view.

Questioning that narrative on the basis that Frost had exactly 2 years of experience, one of which was a .500 season, when he had more talent than virtually every team he played, was not well received.
Honest question. We’re you not pumped for the hire at the time?

I mean I was barking up the frost tree halfway through 2017. I’ll admit it. I was thrilled with the hire. I’ll also admit that I was wrong.

halfway through 2017 I was not on board the Frost train and didn’t want him to be hired. At the end of 2017 after Riley collapsed and was fired and Frost went undefeated, I thought it was a good hire given Frost’s trajectory, but I absolutely didn’t think it was destiny nor did i think it was a guaranteed home run.

Frost had 2 years of HC experience at a G5 school that was more talented than every team it played but one. I hoped he’d grow into the role at Nebraska and that he’d have good assistants - neither of which has been true.

Honestly don’t care. I’m very glad I didn’t drink the Kool-Aid hype this pre-season. Made yesterday A LOT easier to stomach.

I don’t see how anyone can be too disappointed in our defensive product. Tip of the hat to Chin and his team. They have honestly improved into a very serviceable B1G defense.

Sadly, the offense is just bad. The offensive line was really smacked around yesterday and we once again saw the same mistakes at crucial times. Especially in the second half.

Adrian just can’t get his reads off through the zone coverage and holds the ball SO long. I don’t know what he’s coached on…but can we break the field I half for him, two Quick reads and then tuck and run. No questions. If he gets hurt, so be it.

I’m no @Bootleg11 or @kenyanfeline but even I can see that offense is bad…and has not improved. Hell, take Betts and Omar, stack them on one side, streak them down the field every time, run route underneath and either zip it to Toure or throw the yolo to the streakers every time and have them go up and get it.

We prolly get 3 INTs a game, but prolly also get 3 TDS a game too.

Jokes aside, I did like Toure. Maybe a healthy Fidone makes an impact Underneath…And the offense is still bad.

I don’t know.
