I’m on the fire Frost train..

I’m very rarely this frustrated with a coaching staff. I don’t blame any of this on Chinander and that side. This is all on Scott Frost, Mario Verduzco and anybody else that has input on the offense.

It was a team effort. Pretty bad defense in the second half. If Illinois doesn’t milk this clock and walk down the field to start the second half or hit that bomb after, they don’t win.

I wish I could pull some of the RSS threads and posts from 2017 - there was a huge Frost proponent who halfway through the season before UCF even went undefeated or Riley got let go argued, with utter sincerity, it was literal destiny and Frost was the prodigal son to come home and restore Osborne’s glory. He wasn’t alone in this view.

Questioning that narrative on the basis that Frost had exactly 2 years of experience, one of which was a .500 season, when he had more talent than virtually every team he played, was not well received.

As an outsider,(who wants Scotch to stay forever) there is one significant tell for me that you have(the UNL fan base/program) a foundational issue at hand.

Cam Jergens. There’s no reasonable explanation as to why he is not a guard. The “clap gate” scandal from last year’s Cockeye game was perplexing.

Every NFL team now has three years of evidence against Cam Jergens as a center, yet Scotch continues to trot him out there to fail.

He’s Frost’s son, so…
