It would be handled respectfully you can bet, due to Frost's status as alumni/native son etc. Would certainly let him finish the season I think, but wheels would be in motion way before that I'm sure
If the Huskers lose to NW, I think you wait and see what they do over the next 4 games. 5% chance they come back w a vengeance and win all 4, upset Oklahoma, etc.
But what would be way more likely is that a NW loss does the same thing that the Illinois loss did last year: derail the entire season. We lose to NW, Alberts is diving into that rolodex like Tony Montana diving into a pile of cocaine.
It's actually unfair to the players that we keep having these super high stakes for these season openers, but here we are. They basically have to beat NW in Ireland or their HC is getting fired. No pressure there.
