Hockey is so underrated as a sport

You're not completely wrong about NBA either, but I haven't watched a regular season NBA game since the mid to late 90's. The last 2 minutes often determine the outcome of the game, but I f'n hate watching free throws and timeouts.
I'm in the same boat. Can't remember the last time I sat down and watched an NBA game. Perhaps it's changed ... but I doubt it.

I've only been to one live hockey game/match whatevs, it was Lincoln Stars vs someone when I was 19 on frat dad's weekend. Neither my dad or I had a clue about hockey, I wasn't old enough to drink, and the only "fight" was pretty lame. Sad Boner.

NHL seems really boring on TV during the regular season, and rad as fuck during the playoffs. I might be wrong, but that's my current opinion.
Playoff hockey is next level

You're not wrong, but the NHL regular season means more than the NBA regular season. Holy shit, you want to talk about boring. Just tune in for the last 2 minutes to see them try, and spend the remainder of the game broadcast time doing something useful.
I disagree about the NHL to an extent, but can see it a little. NBA and MLB also fall into this camp I feel. Longer seasons mean each game means less.

Reason why I think people love college football or NFL. How much more does each game mean for them?
