Realistically, how far do you think Turd is in his hiring process?

Already has his guy agreed?

Turned down by multiple guys?

Waiting on Mickey?

Onto his second tier?

Waiting for answers?

With less than three weeks left, he has to be close right?

Definitely know who it is and the deal is probably done, at least at the memorandum of understanding level

At least that's my belief. I have no inside info other than it's definitely Lane Kiffin.

Fwiw, I don't care if we got turned down. Turd did the search wrong if he didn't go whale hunting to get shot down

If that’s the case, you’d think our coach is currently coaching then

Yes........OR Turd wants to respect Mickey and treat him right. Incoming coaches notice those things, even though it might be a little old-fashioned.

With the early signing date, that might actually be stupid to wait - just out of respect to Mickey.

I’ll bet it’s someone better than that group.
We'll probably strike out on those guys too. Only one we have a shot with is Monken. We'll end up dumpster diving and hiring a so-so coordinator. Turd prepped us for this with his 'not trying to win the press conference ' line.

My guess is still BOB or Leipold. We will see soon enough.
