Anyone watched his film? I know OSU is stacked but as a 5 Star he barely sniffed the field in a couple seasons. Hoping it is a case of them just having too much talent so a good one looking somewhere else. Would be great if he developed into a Lock Down Corner.

In my opinion, it had more to do with the guys ahead of him.

I go with assumption now that if we land an uber athletic prospect with a nfl grade, that his problems are on the mental side & his athleticism isn’t enough to make up for it.

I'd say temper your expectations on this one. Sounds like he's got the skill set of a safety, but he heard NFL corners make more money so he insists on playing there. Supposedly in HS, his coaches mostly just turned him loose and let him excel on raw athleticism, so he came in with tons of potential but not much skill, with some scouts saying he was way overrated. When he finally managed to hit the field, he wound up playing timid because he didn't actually know how to play corner.

He'd probably be better off in a safety spot where he can focus on being a ball hawk. If he still insists on playing corner, well...
