well Dr what did i have then, no one knew what covid was she was at a Medical convention in Seattle thats where covid started in US
There's not a nonzero chance, but it's as if everyone doesn't understand there's all kinds of maladies in this world. I was in China in January. I had all kinds of weird symptoms when I came back to the U.S. in mid-January. Lost my voice for a good week. It sucked, but never once did I think it was COVID. (it didn't match any of the wide variety of symptoms). The odds of you catching the 'vid last November are next to nothing. The earliest infection IN China is Nov 17. Fuck outta here.

Nah....but I did have a legit close call at the start of all this. My boss almost invited a prof to give a seminar who ended up testing positive in late Dec 2019. Fuck that noise.

My shit was just the nature of enjoying the fruits of Ho Chi Minh and Singapore before heading back here. Limited sleep plus long flights = sickness. I'm essentially 3 for 3 on that. Plus end of semester let down as a teacher. Recipe for disease.

Honestly, peeps who think they've had it, but never confirmed via test nor had direct exposure to positive peeps just strike me as "look at me" types. It's understandable human psychosis, but that doesn't make it so.

Also a friend of mine got sick back in March before testing ramped up. He tested negative for the flu and strept. He lived and he's definitely more bald than before but he didn't lose his taste or smell. I maybe got it from him but also he might not have had it.
