Listened to that yesterday. Found it very interesting.
A short summary....
When Nebraska played Wisconsin the first time they shut down the jet sweep and Wisconsin's "22 Speed" personnel. When White went in motion, Compton's eyes automatically went to the 2 stacked TE's. Those 2 TE's would arc on Jet Sweep or block down if they were faking Jet and giving it to the back in the backfield. Nebraska shut it down early and Wisconsin never went back to it. The 2nd time they played Wisconsin adjusted by blocking those TE's down no matter what. So Compton is reading zone and they are handing the jet sweep.
He asked "Coach Bo" in a recent podcast why didn't they adjust. One of the reasons was that because Wisconsin very rarely used that "22 speed" personnel so Nebraska only had one call to it. It wasn't a huge part of their prep.
Something I think sometimes gets overlooked in that game is that because of the sanctions against Ohio State and Penn State that year, Wisconsin clinched that division really really early. They then basically had like 4 weeks to prep for that game. That's not an excuse, giving up 200 yards to 3 different backs is a major failure. But it did play a factor in Wisconsin winning that game.
