Fucking nerds from northwestern won 7

What does everyone think about Rhule’s blueprint? I.e. mucking up games and leaning on your defense. It sounds pretty damn similar to Cockeye.

My feeling is that it’s not going to work in the new B1G if your goal is conference championships. Just think greater offensive efficiency (~30ppg) is necessary to win anything of merit.

Even Saban has now admitted that offense is now more important than defense in todays game. Hell, the rules favor the offensive side of the ball.

So, I hate the idea of Rhule trying to “muck it up.”

I wonder if that was Rhule’s pitch to Turd when interviewing for the job.

Tell Saban we won 10 games with Bacon Hill.

I don't really think that's his longterm strategy

They really struggled with his blueprint year 1

1.Don't beat ourselves. #DBO
Woof…
2.Make special teams special.
Very inconsistent… had flashes of being great here. But when they were bad they were bad… it likely cost them the Michigan state game
3.Dominate the trenches.
This is probably the best one… DL was getting there and OL was serviceable
4. Win the toxic battle. Turnovers and Explosive plays
We were decently explosive considering, but fucking turnovers
5.Great at situational football.
Absolutely the worst

Trash team makes most of those impossible despite coaching.
